Questions??

I'm actually setting up a BD processor for myself here in Cottonwood, AZ, about 1 1/2 hours north of phoenix. I am still searching for a supplier of NaOH/KOH, and would be willing to travel for a supplier that doesnt require a permit/license to purchase large quantities. I'm actually also searching for some cheaper methanol, I can get it at the local Remax Oil Company, but its expensive hearing other prices... any input would be helpful!

for your methanol try a bulk fuel dealer should be able to get it for you also try the race track/ sprint cars/late models they use it and will tell you where to get it.

Yeah I've heard of the chemistrystore, and that's were I ordered the bag I have now. I was just wondering if there were any places in arizona that stocked it and sold it, preferably central area or phoenix/flagstaff area, to try and save some money on shipping. I pay $220 for a 55 gallon drum of methanol from my local Remax Oil, but from what I've heard there is still cheaper stuff out there, and my race fuel suppliers are more expensive for a less pure fuel than Remax.

We buy the NAOH in Phoenix or Tucson at the Hills Bros Chemicals-$. 93 a pound. here is where we are currently getting our methanol in Tucson its Dons Hod Rod Shop-$142 a 55gallon drum-here is another source in Phoenix its called Speedway Racefuels about the same price. Hope this helps you out!

Have you checked with Chucko, he's the local Sunoco distributor around the PHX area, perhaps someone here knows how to get ahold of him away from the track.
