Lots of people still moving around in the Phnx. area. So I understand the hiking trails are still open, the Grand canyon is still open.

The Grand Canyon is now closed/closing. It's actually the other way around, now, as far as who is giving it to whom as The Navajo Nation has a bad outbreak of the virus. One of their tribal members worked at the local to me casino and was traveling to and from The Navajo Nation: and they are now very dead from this virus. The local person they were dating has the virus. It's hitting very close to home...

@NIsaacs I am surprised your local casino "anything" is still open. Most in the Phoenix area closed mid March.

I am NOT kidding about those in RV's making phone calls so they can shelter in place. It's been working. Although the week long stay limit at the GC is another issue to making a case for that. If you are "full-timing" in an RV, Now What?

@NIsaacs I am surprised your local casino "anything" is still open. Most in the Phoenix area closed mid March.

I think most of them are, this was just the store, fuel pumps, smoke shop and a inhouse Dairy Queen. The Casino, restaurants and RV park were closed.

I currently have field staff in NY, NJ, PA, MD, VA, GA, IA, TN, TX, AZ, CA, WA, OR.

Man it's a process, once I got the general Virus information sorted now were full steam into these travel ban stuff. NJ and NY we've been in lock down for a long time so it's old hat to us. But places are now playing catch up.

I would have supported a national plan some time ago, they were hoping the states could hold it back, but it was already everywhere, so who knows really where we are headed, hopefully 4-8-20 to 4-10-20 for NJ is the peak, they think 4-15-20 for us in west NJ. Who knows really.

Today I had to pull the travel info for GA, TN, MO, IL, IA read thru there stuff, by now I'm very good at the key words.

Yesterday was VA, MD, DE, PA, NJ.

I give my guys a copy of the actual order and a paper with some instructions on it if stopped.

Each case above I have staff moving from one to the other passing thru a few states, we all have NY plates so that does not make it easy on the guys, even out west and south.

Since I spend so much time on this I sent out an email on the 1000' view of how most of it works.

We are listed under the CISA guideline so we are fine, TX has now ceased accept ing corporate letters and has mandated any travellers coming from Hot Spots to register for exemptions, it's all good stuff, just another process. I did the paperwork, we have an office in TX and staff who live there, if you dont you could be impacted.

I'll post up some of the stuff I sent out to my team today, I like to show them we really are trying to do it right and just keep everybody safe.

See if you can get something on letterhead from the essential businesses that you supply that your business is essential to their operation.

That's one of the weird fine print in the stay home order. We do not need proof or documentation to be out. Hair and nail salons are essential, per the order
Some of the city's are fussing with the Governor over that one

In part is says this:

"And here’s the thing: The stay-at-home order has what also might be considered a “get out of jail free’’ card for individuals who decide to go out and seek products and services that might not be on the approved list: They don’t have to justify what they’re doing.

The order spells out that “no person shall be required to provide documentation or proof of their activities to justify their activities under this order."

Our state order says the same thing. I figure it is much easier to show the letter than getting in a discussion, even if I have the right to not say anything. And things may get more strict if the virus gets worse, so having paperwork handy is cheap insurance imo.

Yep, as opposed to Maryland, they say it's a good idea to have a letter and how to write it.

My tech did get stopped last night in Maryland because he has NY plates, he was asked for his travel letter, had it, no big issue kept moving, I get the profiling and the sort, I cant fix that, but I do pull each states paperwork because it varies from state to state and week to week.

My AZ tech lives in Chandler and works in Goodyear, so far no issues, he has NY plates but pretty far removed, I told him to.slap a local sports team sticker or something on it, so folks know he is local, kinda...

above-referenced Order as follows:

1. Employer Documentation. Employers who are permitted to remain open (to any degree) under

the Order may wish to provide a letter to employees who must commute to and from work. This

will help employees establish their need to travel if challenged. The suggested content for the letter

is:

a. the name and address of the employee;

b. the name and address of the employer;

c. the nature of the employee’s work;

d. a brief statement of why the employer remains open for business; and

e. a signature and contact information for the employer.

I am blessed to have a propane del job so I'm busy , here in East Central PA there is still a fare amount of travel. Lots of trucks/service vehicles but 1/4(?) the cars
I know some folks who are NOT staying at home.
One benefit is I get to meet a lot of customers who normally are not at home. Most I talk to about the lockdown shake their heads & hope normal returns soon.
AG construction is still going & Fort Indiantown Gap was booming yesterday. training with the big guns.
