i am no turbo expert but i will say that the hx35 is out of it range after 32-35 lbs boost in other words all it is doing is pumping superheated air into the engine. the b1 runs a larger housing so with the same amount of fuel it will not boost as high. the 40lb put out by the b1 is cool air and well within the range of the b1. i will say that with this turbo alone you can make alot of hp you only hold back is you 180hp pump if you have the 215 you would see at least 50hp more and with piers stupid pump 75hp or more. your hold back now is not air only fuel. i am no expert and i maybe wrong but that is my 2cents. i know that guys have made 450-475hp with the stock hx35 but i imagine they had the 215 pump and lots of smoke.
How do you figure that at the same boost pressure with a B-1 vs. a HX-35, the 35 is pumping hot air into the intake vs. the B-1 pumping cooler air? The velocity of the air entering the engine should not create heat, so explain this to me, please.
