B-52 crew reports UFO over N Dakota

A local TV station carried a story Thursday night complete with some footage that a B-52 crew reported observing a UFO over N Dakota. Nothing more since then Nothing on CNN or anywhere

We have two Air Force Bases in N. D. One is in Grand Forks, and the other is in Minot. They (I believe) have the biggest fleet of B52s in the nation.

I believe that Barksdale AFB, Louisiana has the largest fleet of buff's; 2 active duty squadrons, 1 reserve squadron & 1 training squadron.

I saw Peter Jenning last thursday night with a 2 hour story on ufo's.

Part of it described a b-52 aircraft and many witnesses that tracked and flew around a very large ufo.



Maybe that was what they were reffering to. .

As far as the B52s, maybe I stand corrected, I don't know. But on the other hand, I am not to fond of tornadoes either.

Pretty quick trip from ND to downtown Moscow... Don't really need that now, but it was sure a hot topic 10-50 years ago. I understand there were some SR-71s that ran out of Seattle... . Same destination, just a little west of ND, and didn't take quite as long. :-laf

UFO should be preceded by, "as yet. . " or "mis identified. . " or "goof ball reports... " etc, etc,.

Guess I think this is an area for the very gullible; I just plain don't believe in them. Oh, yea, sure there are lots of UFOs, but that does NOT mean they are anything other than unidentified. I saw one myself and it really had my hair standing on end for several minutes till I finally managed to change it from and unidentified flying object, to an "oh for christs sake, THATs what it is"----while feeling more than a little foolish that I had let the silly thing get me wound up.
