The first link is not any good.



Just think of all the time the owner put into building it. I hated seeing it go up in smoke. There is a big scale jet meet in Winmac,In every year. I think it is this month sometime.

My only gripe is that this thing doesn't smoke nearly as much as the old turbine B-52's...

Pretty cool, amazing how short of a runway it needed to get airborn, must have had a very good power to wieght ratio.

Wow what a plane. The work that went into it is beyond most people's comprehension. My father and i used to team up and make R C airplanes. He was the builder I would cover them with Monocoat and do the finish work. Most of the ones we did were either from plans or from pictures. This is a period of time that i most treasure w/ my father. The stress of the first flight was intense. I could not imagine being at the controls of that thing.



I think i cried for him when it went in :{
