B & D brake

Hello Dodge owners, Hope you have a solace in the wake of recent events. I have a question. Is there any kind of general maintenance for a B & D Brake on my truck, for example silicon spray or lube. Also how often should I lube or repack my front bearings on my truck. 2 wd. Thanks and have a good one. Dale.

At least once per year you should verify that the brake is making 20 psi back pressure with it on, remove and blow out your vacuum actuator lines with some compressed air, and you should remove and clean your spool valve. Be very careful that you take it apart like a gunsmith disassembles a gun. It's very easy to lose a small part and you can definitely be there for a few hours scratching your head trying to put it back together.
