[B]Key Pods[/B]

Hi All,



The question I have is the Key Pods I have two brand new key pods for the key pods to work correctly I have to be within couple feet of the truck. These key pods are from the truck I traded in with new batteries install and they work at distance of more than 10 feet away from the truck.



What is causing the problem and is there a correction to this issue. The dealer is of no help in this matter.

I'm having a little trouble figuring out your question. You said you have brand new ones, but then you said they are from the truck you are trading in. I do know that mine works from at least 100 feet away from the truck in most situations. I'm not sure what type of signal it uses, or where the receptor is on the truck... . but that would be where I would start looking first.

mine sometimes work from about 100ft, and other times, i have trouble getting the doors to unlock from the end of my driveway [±25ft]

I traded in my 04 Hemi which I purchased 4 months ago thats where the new/old ones come from if you wnat to figure four months are old.
