[B]Larger fuel tank needed for short box 06.[/B]

I have an new 06 Short Box Quand Cab and would like get a larger fuel tank. I know there are lots of options for extra tank in box... but I don't want to use any space in box. Does anyone know if larger tanks are available to be hung onto frame??

A cheap and easy way to get an extra 5 gallons or so is the Fuel Tank Vent Kit. Do a search on it and you'll find lots of happy campers.

JP, I saw some at May Maddness in Las Vegas, last week, direct replacement "steel" under truck by a vendor I think in the range of 55 gallons... I'm sorry I don't know or remmember the vendor, it may have been the same company that does the tool box or in bed style?? They were next to each other. Contact Joe Donnelly or perhaps someone else who was there would know.

transferflow makes stock replacement tanks that are around 55gal

I contacted tranferflow and they advised they used to make a tank for the Short Box truck but discontinued it because they could only get an extra 10 gallons from stock. They said cost to change tank for just 10 gallons was not worth it so they discontinued. So no options with them.

Aero Tanks has a 2 tank system for short box Dodges. Total cap. of 60 gal.
