B&M Automatic Floor Shifter Question

I am going to swap out the NV5600 for a fully modified Goerend 47re. I have most of the drivetrain required for the swap. What I do not have is a steering column from an automatic truck. My question is, has anyone used or seen anyone else use a B&M floor shifter for this application? B&M specs state models for a Torqueflite 727. I belive the shifter has only cables and no hard linkages. Thanks in advance for any input.
