If you get into Arizona then buying Kenglish hitch and switching bases would give you a 3500 Companion to resale!

I think you missed my point. You want to convert your 3500 to a 3600 by buying the puck base. Knight says his is a 3600, which has the base you need. What is it going to cost you to purchase the 3600 base? A lot less than the $600??? I do not think so. If he is in a part of Arizona that is a reasonable travel, then you switch his 3600 base to your known head and put his head on your 3500 base and send it down the road for say 500-600 bucks. Win - Win!

Are you sure your 3500 is 18k?
My 3400 (companion/slider) is rated at 20k. I can't see a non slider being rated for less?

I'm sorry Sno, ya I read it wrong. Per B&W my head will fit the new puck base that I'll be purchasing, and it will rerate my head from 18K to 22K due to the different base. In other words, the rating is set to the piticular base and not the head unit. I'll look into KEnglish deal, I'm next to AZ. On edit, sent him a PM.

@RVTRKN After watching craigslist for these hitches for a bit I never saw just a RVB 3600 base, but I did see a few RVB 3500 bases. Not many people are going to be selling just the base on a RVB3600.

If this deal falls thru I would still find a used RVK3600 and sell your RVK3500. The RVK3600 is also rated for 25K, which may be more than you need but higher than what you quoted for upgrading.
