B&W Companion Best Price ???

Does anybody know where the best price for the B&W Companion is? I also want the turn over ball. I have seen prices for fifth wheel $799. 00 and $399. 00 for the turn over ball. Thought some of you might have a source on these I could use.

I was quoted $1500 for both installed. I believe that they were charging about $180 to install it so it looks like you are getting a little better deal than I was offered. Regardless, it will go on my next truck if I ever get rid of this one.

Yeah on line is the better price and you save yourself install cost an just do it yourself .

Why don't you do yourself a big favor and look at the UniGoose hitch. IMHO it is a MUCH superior setup. Una-Goose Removable Ball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Requires No Welding and it bolts under the bed directly to frame. I studied and shopped hitches for my Dodge 3500's and settled on the Uni and have been very happy with the purchase.



The last thing I wanted was a hitch with some rinky lever in the wheelwell. Darn things never work after the 3rd year. Rusted solid.

That's what is nice about B&W it's all bolt in any more no need to weld on our truck's

I sold my 2002 dually last September with a B&W turnoverball gooseneck that was installed in August 2001. It still worked perfectly..... FWIW. I'm still using the 2001 vintage companion 5th wheel hitch in the new truck.

I guess everybody has their favorite. 8 years with my B&W with no problems. Easy install and very rugged.

I found better prices on E-bay for both items. There's usually 1 or 2 companies that have a buy it now or best offer and free shipping. I paid $350 and $600 for my B&W last spring and I just purchased a hitch for my soon to arrive 2011 for $350 free shipping.

It is the best... . I paid 800 for both and had it installed on the 010 one ton. I love it. Bed is clean to use the truck for other things and the hitch is easy to remove and re-install. It is not the easiest to install, get the no drill mounting kit. It's worth it.
