Wingate,
Thanks for the pictures. Looks great. You have a beautiful rig.
I was wondering one last thing though. How far out does your king pin stick from the front most part of your trailer? Is is just about even with the apex of the trailer or does it stick out more than that? If it does how much more?
I know I am full of ... questions. :)

Thanks for all the input to my questions. That really helped me with my decision.
I think I will be ordering the companion soon. :)

The centerline of the kingpin does not stick out past the futhermost point of the camper. Its actually back a little ways. I'll get a pic of it this afternoon if I get home before dark and post.

Wingate,
Thanks again for all your help.
Sweet rig you have. Hope mine looks half as good. They are scheduled to build ours in a couple of weeks.

Looks like your kingpin will be virtually the same as mine in placement so I should be good to go with the Companion.

Thanks,
Mark

Here is a shot of my setup with a Companion non slider. I was also going to buy a Companion slider but couldn't get one in time to pick up my trailer. I am now glad because it turns nearly 90* without a problem.

Thanks Handtools. More confirmation that I should be good to go with the companion.
I just placed my order for the Companion last night and next month we should be off to pick our trailer up (she's not built yet).
Looking forward to the trip and the adventures ahead.

Thanks,
Mark
