Anderon weight dist hitch?

B&W's Hit it out of the park!

Just spoke to B&W Customer Service. They will be releasing the RVK 3600 in about two weeks.

The hitch will install into the Ram factory 4 puck system.

Get this the hitch will be rated for 26,000# towing and 6,250# pin weight. I think that will work on my wife's 38' Elite Suites dream RV.

Now I will get the factory hitch prep option when I order my next truck later this year.

So no more stupid adapters just get this monster and be done!

Agreed. I dislike the idea of the picture frame adapter--more parts to move around, break, etc. You are obviously thinking dually with 4.10...my SRW has only 17k towing capacity, and the 1314 goosdeneck with 3500 companion is plenty for me, with 20k hitch capacity.

Yes 4:10's with air ride. Will get a 15 that way the air ride system has a few months to be in the real world. So new truck at MM will have to wait until 2015.

The GNRK1314 gooseneck kit and RVK3500 Companion would have been fine but this new RVK3600 will be the best option.

I just assembled and installed the RVK 3600's first cousin in my son-in-law's 2012 F450 dually (yeah, I know :{ I thought I had raised my daughter better than that.) that had the factory hitch prep package. It's really a sweet hitch!! Drop it into the pucks, turn the levers 90 degrees, lock 'em and that's it.

I'm sure the RVK 3600 will be just as great.

P.S. - I can't believe how low the bed rails are on that F450. Even though it's a 4x4, I had to adjust the B&W arms to their lowest setting, and he still has 7.5" or 8" bed rail to 5er clearance with his 2011 Mobile Suites 36TKSB3. On the highest setting (where my Companion is), the hitch kingpin plate was even with the top of the bed rails.

Getting mine installed on the 27th. I am anxious to see how it will marry up to my 5th wheel. I measured the top of the rail to the ground and was surprised the difference between my old 2500 and the 3500 was only 3/4 inches.
The installers say it's the best hitch they've seen.

I assume you are getting a RVK3500? The 3600 has not been released yet. If you are getting the 3600 please post a pic when you get it.

INHO B&W is the best hitch hands down!

I may have to put my current setup in the classifieds if this turns out as sweet as it sounds. I hate the current system.

Doggone it!!! I wish I would have known this was coming out! I already bought the new base they came out with a little while ago, now I might need this one. Oh well, I still needed their gooseneck for my flatbed. I'm just disappointed its so far back in the bed, but that's Ram's fault, not B&W.

A few years ago I was directly involved with developing a hitch redesign on my GMC, once we got the ball rolling, they were great to work with. Went back and forth a few times till we had a setup that worked well, they implemented those changes shortly after.

I wish this would have been available sooner, I called them to inquire and they wouldn't say if this would be available or not. Oh well I need a hitch in October, so the picture frame had to do along with my old Reese 5er hitch.

Thats the same setup, but with a different base for the companion, it goes to show you how well built the Companion is. I've toured their plant and its very impressive as well as the employee's.

The top portion is the same on all B&W's. Hard to improve on perfection.

For the flat bed installation it is rated for 30K.

I would definitely take the tour. Top quality company. They paid their employees to do community projects instead of laying them off when things were slow.

The plant is not open to the public, and it took some persuasive conversation to allow me in the plant and too even take pictures. I was used as a testimonial on their website for quite some time, but I paid $10K cash for my Elite flat bed back in 07, so I guess they OK'ed it because I was a well paying customer. Unfortunately my POC windows based computer, crapped out on me, losing a lot of pictures, and is the reason I own Apple now, the only surviving picture I have is posted below. The Bed is waiting for my inspection before the installing of it.

I did have some issues with the Bed on the return trip to SoCal, and it showed its ugly head about two months later, the issue was, I would get a left turn signal failure warning on my evic, but they worked OK when I pulled over. I called them and they stated that a glitch has been known on the Dodge trucks and they would notify me of a solution when they figure it out. I lost the left turn signal for real, two months later and took it to Dodge under warranty, they blamed it on the bed. I found out what the problem was, and B&W paid for all my materials to rewire the bed. I ended up solving their glitch with a very simple solution, they used the old method of grounding the bed to the frame rather than using the ground provided at the rear light harness. I did get upset that the installer cut the wires, for the installation of the bed, on the wire harness side of the plug instead of after the plug basically ruining the original wire loom. Once the ground was installed correctly the glitch never came back.

Just received an email from Erik Stewart at B&W. He said the RVK 3600 will sell for $1,299. He also mentioned that if you already have the Companion all you need to buy is the 3600's base and it is $728. The B&W heads are all the same and interchangeable.
