Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) B1/B2 twin guys......

Lookin' into adding a B2 to my current setup. What would be the biggest injector to go with and still tow 12k 5th with good EGT's? I plan on running less than 80psi. NO drag racing, just towing! What is the head machining cost for the 80psi fire rings--on average?

I've heard quotes ranging from $1000-$1500 to put 'rings in your head/block... . parts may or may not be included in that price.

You can run any injector you want. I am running Mach 5's and if I run my tst box down low I can keep the egts down. I still have awesome power and acceleration too. You can spend up to $1500 to have your head ported/polished/fireringed and them get the copper fire ring head gasket and head studs.

In there is great thread by JRodgers of Dallas on costs for parts & labor to install fire rings. Should answer all questions.
