I just ordered my B1-04 and ATS 2 piece manifold. i was just lookin for some comments on how it performs /spools . I still have a stock clutch right now but i was lookin at the sbc con fe. i would appreciate anyone with some info thanks. Adam

You'll love that manifold and turbo combination.

Make sure to let the turbo break in for several hundred miles before applying alot of boost.

Run a "regular" boost elbow to let the wastegate run properly.

Spool is a non issue!! Turbo sounds great too!

On the clutch:

I would advise a SBC Dual Disk with around a 3200lb clamp load and 6 Ceramic pucks per disk. That ought to be real street friendly!!

How is a dual disk clutch for shifting. Can u still shift fast for drag racing cause i do a lot of power shifting and i dont wanna lose time on my 1/4 mile run. would u say it would be more street friendly than a con fe from south bend

Adam,

A couple things. I've got a couple buddies running the B1-04. They love it. On the manifold,. . it's really good except to make it better then take a little time and gasket match the port size. I hear the ports are a bit smaller than they should be and need a little prep b-4 installing. Piers does it to all their ATS manifolds I heard.
