You are correct, yours is BIGGER B1. I removed your Bigger B1 while it was still hot, truck sitting on the dyno, then installed my standard B1 and lost 24+ horsepower. This was with a 13mm barrelled P7100 on a 24V. I should have kept that turbo!! Larry
Best dyno to date 542hp and pegged the DynoJet at 1200 ft-lbs. No. 2 only, no "other" additives. I regularly towed an 8000lb 5th wheel at or above 6000' with no problems other than the water temp getting to hot on long grades at high boost levels. I've seen 53 psi near sea level. At my home elevation of 6000' the most boost i've seen is 42 psi.
I thought the redline box fully fueled until 4000 rpm... ... when I compare this dyno chart with dyno charts I have using a comp box and a standard B-1, I would make max HP around 2850 but hold it until almost 3300. On this graph the redline made max HP around 2650 but only held it for about 50-100 rpm and then was going downhill and at 3300 it was down over 100 HP.
604 is still impressive and I am NOT taking anything away from Ray. It's just that the manufactors say it fully fuels to 4000 rpm but it doesn't appear that it does it also looks like a lot more timing up top would be in order... .
Doug I agree but I have checked some things and found some problems with my truck. For example blown head gasket, all my valves were out of adjustment, and a fuel leak at the pump. Im not shur if any of that would affect the power drop off (I know it cant help) but I am going to fix it and dyno some more.
