IMHO we are behind alot of places in the area of portable power shall we say. In Brazil they have been working on ethanol since the '70's, and in europe they have been toying with the diesel for years, and I belive they have gotten very large into the biodiesel area also. I do not know the details of europes bio.

I second that. It appears that Bosch was saying that the quality of the biofuel is a big factor and not necessarily that 100% biodiesel mixture was bad. The guy that owns the plant where I buy mine from off & on says that the buzz is basically that B20 will be your next #2 diesel. Hence why big oil is investing so heavily (and probably partly why fuel is still so flamin' expensive----Hey! they need the money to buy all the Bio plants up!)
