Oo. Has anybody running B20 in their Cummins? We have a commercial station in our area and I would love to use it. Anybody use it...

I've been running B20 for over a year. Love it. It may have a tendency to clean out a gunky fuel system, so have some spare fuel filters handy.

I just filled with my second tank of B20. Truck runs a bit quieter. Power seems the same and my mileage doesn't seem affected. My fuel pressure is starting to drop, so it indeed cleans out that gunk quickly. I'll be replacing my filter soon.

From around April to November I use B100. In the cooler months I switch to B20. You definitely need to watch your fuel filter especially if you have an older truck that has seen its fair share of #2.

good to go on B20! Been using it for about two years and love it just for the lubricity sake among others. Do watch your pressures though, I went through about 3 fuel filter changes pretty quick after the switch. Now I back to my normal change interval:)

Heard that MN is working on eventually requiring ALL diesel sold in the state to be B20, in place of the current B2 or B11 they have now.

bmoeller , it is 2% now & I thought that I heard 5% is what they are moving to , but I almost try to avoid what " they say " because of where there heads are at , no sun shinning .
Let the costumers decide what they want by buying or not , but since we have a monopoly of just a few , that can not happen either .

I have been making my own Bioidiesel in my garage for about 9 months. I had a little trouble at first because my reaction was not good enough. The guy I get oil from only gives me enough for about 80 gallons every 3 weeks so I go back and forth and use #2 sometimes. Since I installed the new turbo I don't notice a difference. With the stock turbo and running B100 the turbo lag was pretty bad. That was an HX35 with 14cm3 housing. Now I am running a super B.

Your engine will love itOo. , however your fuel filter won't at first:rolleyes:.

Good Luck,

Ben
