I just got back today it was a short trip down through West Virginia in the hills pulling the enclose car trailer with my 1914 Model T Touring. It was great and I was inpressed the way the automatic worked. I have a temp gauge and It stayed on 100. I also was in overdrive 90 percent of the time. I ran 70 to 75 most of the timeup hill and down. Now fuel mileage was 13 which the truck only has 4000 miles on it now. I did not baby it by no means. I do like the automatic in my 2006. The Cummins purred like a kitten. We hit rain and the road was a little slippery in places. It been a long time since it rain around here. When I would start to take off at intersections the rear wheels would spin a bit. We were on a Model T tour for 3 days we drove the T's 45 miles the first day 75 the second day and 1005 the third day. Had a great time. Good bunch of people to run with. :D

So when you were running 70-75 MPH, what was your RPM's?

Just to clarify, your transmission temp guage stayed at 100? Where do you monitor your temp. Normal operating temp for mine when towing nothing more than my happy ##s is 140-160.

Yes 105 the third day. I have done 300 in one day but that wore me out. At 40 miles a hour you can get farther then you think. Going over 40 is not safe only have brakes on rear and in transmission. No front brakes on a T
