Aired down to 20 and by the time I got to olds they were at 28. I aired down again to 15 and up I went. Suspension would have made it even easier.

It might have been easier if your tires weren't nearly bald. :-laf

I'm not sure stock tires would have cut it out there.

yeah lets see pics I have not traveled that far south yet but am ready if you are planning another trip. (i also bbq)

The BBQ sounds like a bribe :-laf but it just might work. There were so many things going on and so little time. I wanted to drive the Lorenze and Carli trucks, just didn't get to. I did get a ride part way up Olds in the Lorenze truck and drove beside the Carli built 06. Just having too much fun to think scientific. I did run the Superlift/bilstein truck :D

Just wondering how the Superlift/blistein truck did? Thinking about a 4" myself.

I put them on the other thread, but I'll add the rest of what I have here... I still have the other camera to check now that I'm thinking about it.

I wish we could've gone head to head with your Truck and the Race System, Bob. Honestly, I didn't want to push it because I would've felt real real lousy if something bad happened because of testosterone induced foolishness with out roll cages... ;)

Cameras, women and horsepower have gotten me once; I don't now how the big man upstairs would see it, if I were foolish twice.

Matt I have a 1meg file of this pic if you'd like it.

Matt up Olds

Matt No Go

Chris No Go

Avi up Olds

Never Lift up Olds

It is in a different class, it is rougher riding and bottoms out much easier. Also much less money. It is mostley for the look not to make your ride better

Yes very true, the other suspended trucks were moving twice as fast as i was and alot smoother. But it does ride better then stock city driving and off road.

Not to mention the 1" of travel before the bump stop is encountered. However, I do recall it out there involved in the Sand Drags.

You'll have to cut the fenders a wee bit on the bottom front side. I still need to cut about an inch more, I sliced the tops of my paddles on the newly cut fenders. Nothing a little rubber cement can't take care of.

Mine were BFG AT 315/70/17 tires.

Dodge Bob it's me Pat cool pics and video's we need to hook up some time for some offroad fun, only I'll leave the Walker Evans truck stuff to you and your friends.

Macdaddy

at least i made it into a video (sort of). what happened to the pics of my truck "posing" on the dune with the tow strap on the front pulling backward? Ok so I was stuck but I had no 4X.

There is always next trip... ... ... ..... The top of the hill pic is the one that is earned and not available to the masses :D

Bob

yeah, I suppose so. I'm sure chris will be trying again and I'll just have to see what I can do and maybe we can fill the top of the hill with these beasts. ;)

The three off-road lights look great on there. Are they just mounted through the bumper, or is there a bracket that holds them? Also, do you remember the part #? Sorry for all the questions, They look TOO good! Thanks.
