Competition Quaker Drag! The winner is........

Competition Best 1/4 mile times?

I recorded my best 1/4 to date, a 14. 533 @ 90 mph. 60 ft stayed in the 1. 9's all day. I got a great video of me toasting a Mustang too. :D I was very happy with the times since I still have an HX35 and restrictive exhaust. EGT's were awful so I'll be adding that 4" very soon. Best part about it was the mods Jeff made to my HX35, I was able to pull out the traps at 3500 rpm in 3rd gear and not drop off any in ET or mph from a 4th gear pass.

The STP trucks ran well. Kevin was having a terrible time hooking up and the best he was able to do was 12. 8's in the Dakota. This with an average of 2. 0's 60 foot.

Jeff ran consistant 11. 6's with 1. 6 60 ft times. I made one pass with him and man O man, what a feeling through the first 330'. G force to the hilt!!!:--) With the new transmission and ATS converter, he was leaving with wheel spin on those 16. 5 inch slicks, and you could hear him grab every gear as he ran down the track.

I guess we are ready for Commerce in a few weeks.

:) :)

Congrats

Wow, that's great especially since you're still running the hx35. I feel less guilty for the torture I'm puting mine through with egt's running the hx35.

This may be the proof I am looking for. I don't know Jeff, but I would assume he's running a Cummins. Got a video showing the time, or even a picture of a time slip that I can ID it was a diesel truck? Just trying to show some friends what these babys can do :)
