I learned my lesson. When it was time to trade my '11 in I fell for a good deal on a 2013 F-350 SRW. I think I knew I screwed up after the first week, but I tried to make the best of it. I spent three months and 8,000 miles in it and had to get back to a Ram. I did not like the way it handled, and the seat was uncomfortable to me. The engine had plenty of power, but it was mostly top end.

I traded for a used '13 Ram, and got a little money back. Happy camper :D

The only things that I liked better about the Ford:
Mirrors
Turning radius/steering feel
Michelin tires (not sure why Ram had to saddle us with Firestone tires)
Better backup camera

Glad you're back but let's keep the brand bashing on the down low.

All of these trucks are expensive these days but they ALL have some quirks at some level. There is no perfect truck out there!

Let's keep TDR classy. If someone wants raunch, the Cumminsforum, com is the place to go.

Again, glad you're back.

I don't bash brands... I drive a '96 Powerstroke everyday and have several other Ford trucks. I converted to Dodge back when the whole 6.0 fiasco came out, and thought I would try Ford again now that the 6.7 has been proven to be a good engine. Problem is I am so used to driving the Ram, that I was just never comfortable in the Ford. The seats really messed up my back.

I really did not see any "brand bashing" in his post. Sounded like his experiences some good some bad.

Good to hear. My written text reads a lil harsher than my thought was.

Hope you enjoy the new truck. I can't wait to find the right one for me. Until then, the search is on.

]I really did not see any "brand bashing" in his post. Sounded like his experiences some good some bad.[/QUOTE],I agree , where was any brand bashing?, Jhawes needs to reread the post

My F350 sucked. Three turbos, two engines and mysterious shifting problems...........how's that for bashing?!?!:-laf. Glad your back in the Dodges!

I'll bet JHawes didn't mean his comments to be that harsh, he might just a little stressed.........since he is currently "cummins-less"....:-laf:eek:
