Does anyone know if the back seat of a 01 Quad cab folds flat down. My dog is getting to big for the back seat. Thanks in advance 6.

The bottom flips up, but the back doesn't fold down. It's secured to the back wall of the cab.

The seat back and seat bottom of the rear seat in my '01 Quad cab are hinged together. The back will fold away from the back wall of the cab a couple of inches and the seat bottom will fold up to allow access to the under seat storage area. The seat back will definitely not fold down flat.

I know our back seats are small, but that's gotta be one BIG dog.

You can fold the seat bottom up, and remove the plastic organizer tray from underneath. Then you will have the carpeted floor with only a small hump in the middle.



The seat will still fold down and be useable. The organizer does not support the seat bottom.



If you want to remove the seat completely, remove the 4 bolts holding the bottom brackets, and lift the entire seat assy up. The seat back has U hooks that slide down into loop brackets to hold it in place.
