Back Seat

The back seat release is not releasing all the time from the stowed position. When it does work it feels like I need to lubricate the hinge and locking system. Is this accurate and how do I do it? Thank you in advance. John

Are you just pulling the handle or pushing the seat back and then pulling the handle?

Pulling the handle and then pushing the seat back.

I tried in both ways when it would not open. I Pulled the handle and then pushing the seat back today and it is working now.

I never had an issue with mine if I pushed the seat back, then pulled the handle, then let the seat down.
