I had a Dodge Cummings in 1989, but switched to Ford in 1993 for Crew Cab. Had 2003 6. 0 for 14 months. Completed order for 2004. 5 Dodge 3500

quad, HO 600, Larimie, loaded. My Ford was built in Feb 03 so it had injectors that have been failing.

So glad to go back to Dodge and not worry about my injectors failing while towing 35' 5th wheel.

Chaprell Dodge in Ada, OK gave me fantastic treatment and a great deal. Now the wait for build and delivery.

As said above, welcome back. Maybe if more people would do the same Ford would open their eyes and fix the issues with their trucks :D

U2plt, from an ex-navy rotorhead welcome back to the good life. I think you will be very happy with the new CTD. Although I have an HO, I am very pleased with the new 3g Dodge. I will not tell you that the new Dodges are completely flawless The problems are few and very minor in nature and not every truck has them. I will tell you that you can take your family on a trip without worrying if you are going to make it back home. Look it over good when it arrives and test drive it to make sure that all is right with your truck. Enjoy the ride:cool:.

Forgot to mention I was a subsciber to TDR when

it first started... . great pub.....

My wife and I enjoyed your responses... .

cummings? thats ok that how the boys over at the diesel stop spell it also. glad to have you back it wont take you long to get back into the inline way of thinking

Yes, I too am divorcing my Ford. Actually, I'm coming back to Dodge after my "affair" with Ford. Prior to it, I had a 97 V10 (loved it!), and a 96 1500 360 (OK, but the V10 got the same mileage!)

I have a 2000 Neon (virtually trouble free), my girlfriend had a 2000 Neon (also trouble-free) which she recently traded for an Intrepid SXT (3. 5 HO, 250 lb/ft - very sweet).

All these vehicles very VERY reliable. I had an affair with Ford, and now I'm begging for forgiveness! :D

U2 Pilot, Welcome back ! Hey that old bird is about due for a 50th birthday... just out of curiosity, what else did you fly? Regards, Marty

Welcome back from the "dark side" u2 :D

In a couple weeks I'll celebrate 1 year with my '03 HO. I spent 2 hours giving my truck a bath tonight then went crusing awhile and boy it sure puts a smile on my face. It's been 25,300 happy miles so far :D

Other than an ECM problem at 10,000 miles, which was easily resolved under warranty, I've had a hard time finding much to complain about on this truck. It's just running awesome and I'm lovin' it.

U2

Were you ever in Adana Turky. Was there for awhile and remember watching them take off in the early morning and returning late evening. Very secret at the time. No one was supposed to see them let alone talk about them. Later Gary Francis Powers got shot down over the soviet union in one.

Welcome back sir. You're forgiven. I tell ya even though I'm a 6-spd fan if Dodge could find a nice, strong, effective automatic with comparable features to the Allison and Torqshift then Dodge would have it all about locked up marketwise. I've got almost 2700 miles on mine and it's just a real pleasure to drive. The roll-on torque with the manual is just cheatin' man!! I think a while back I used the term "unobtanium exotic car with a tailgate". Yeah... ..... that sounds about right... ... ... .

All U-2 flights out of Turkey were by the CIA recruited AF fighter pilots. I new most of them.

I was among the first year of pilots in the Military

Squadron based at Laughlin AFB, Del Rio, TX. Gary

Powers was from Turner AFB a SAC fighter Wing.

Another CIA pilot friend of mine flew the ONLY over flight over Moscow. He just passed away last year. Was famous as the lemone drop kid, which is another long story..... Cozy The Old Fighter/U-2 pilot... .
