Looks like I need a trip to the warranty station. I noticed the ac does not switch speeds when I turn the knob for outside air or recirc air. I sure hate to spend time on this but I guess it is something that has to be done. Even after this I still like the truck. After 21k on the clock and best fuel mileage of 20. 4 I can't gripe too much.

I don't think mine switches fan speeds, but it changes from bringing in outside air to using air from within the cab. Yes the noise changes because you now hear the intake noise from the fan inside the cab.
