Fifth Wheel and Shortbed Advice Needed

fan-tastic Vent fan question

Looking for an easy to install / good working back-up camera for my camp trailer. I'd like to put a camera on the back end of the trailer both for ease of backing and for use as a "rear view". I'd like something that might also be able to function on the same screen as a GPS unit or just mount on the viser out of the way when not in use. Any suggestions???

There is a consideration before buying or building a backup camera. You want a mirror image. If you use a standard micro video camera then you have to have the display modified so that it will scan backwards. RV backup cameras and displays are already set up to give you a mirror image. If you don't have a mirror image then every car that passes you will look like it is on the right side instead of the left.

Joe G. - So that is way I have had people change lanes and cut me off!!! :{ I thought they just did not see me. :p Not doing what you say could really ruin your day unless you don't know your left from your right. :--)
