Shovelhead said- he "doesnt need them during the day", and of course he's right but I've found a good, visible set of backup lights do a lot to warn others in the grocery store parking lot that you intend to back up. Some of these folks are just barely paying attention. Also when I'm in pedestrian mode, its helpfull to see who is in reverse & who's not. I cant see out the back of my truck so the mirrors are my only view to the rear and I need all the help I can get in clearing a path for backing up... . JTMcC.

I bought the White Knights, but have stalled on installing them. I don't really like the wire splice fitting supplied - down the road I think it's going to corrode the wiring and cause failure. I'm not knocking White Knight - you see those little crimp on critters everywhere. I'm just wondering if somebody knows of a better fitting or another way of going about it?

I used the scotch lock as a temp hook up. I plan to go in and cut the wires and soldier them together this summer. When I installed the lights I was laying in the snow so quick was good. While I am at it I have to fix three other scotch lock type connectors that the guys that installed my shell used and are now rotten and falling apart.
