Back Up Lights

We just got back from the big city and while we were there we aquired a HP Scanjet 5300cxi. As soon as we can get it set up and photos are ready, I will post some of my bumper. Thanks for all the email advice on digital cameras vs flat scanners!!!! We needed something that would allow us to update our photos on our website. I will probably be asking for help on how to post photos on this site. Thanks, Bob

Do you have more details on who makes the lights you referred to ? The mounting method of using the receiver tube sounds pretty good to me. I would like to have mine wired with a 3 position switch... 1 for off, 2 for on with backup lights, and 3 for on (say while in park).

Hey Hyde

I don't have the part #'s or pricing - our mechanic got them and the local Deere dealership bills us monthly on account. I will get the info and post it in the next couple of days. Again they are the lamp assemblies and bulbs for a John Deere 650 HLT (you won't need the lamp mounting brackets they are designed to go on the cage of the dozer.

Well, I've painted myself in a corner again! I like the backup lights pictured in the pic above however, after upgrading my hitch to a Reese Titan V it occured to me this particular hitch does not have the open tube ends... and even if it did, 3" square tubing is used for the lateral beam as opposed to the 2" used in most other hitches. I guess it's time to formulate plan B.
