2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Back Window Tint

Does anyone know what the percentage is on the back window and the club cab windows on the 2002 dodge ram? I want to tint my windows and i would really like to tint them the same as the back windows. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

20% on the driver and passenger sides matched pretty close with my back and rear side windows.

Check your local laws before tinting. Around here (mid-TN) the legal limit is 35%. Usually you can get away with 20%, but some cops can be jerks about stuff (no offense intened to any police officer members )

I have 35% on my Dodge. Wifes surburban has 20%. Texas DPS pulled her over and wrote her a ticket for it. The reason she was pulled over was for no front license plate, but they let her off that and wrote her a ticket for illegal vehicle window film. They had a little light meter to measure it...

The legal limit here in Virginia is 50%, i know because my next door neighbor is a state trooper and he is pretty cool. The law is pretty easy on stuff up here. I just wanna know which one looks more like the stock tint on the back and club cab windows? 20% or 35% ?????

20% looks more like the back.



20% only lets 20% of the light through.

35% lets only 35" of the light through ect...



The lower the number, the darker the tint. Limo tint is 5%...



If your limit is 50% then running 20% would be risky in my opinion...

Window Tint

Well my next door neighbor who is the Virginia State Trooper, put a request in to his sergent for a window tint guage so i can check it. Im just wondering if one of the brackets on the sliding glass will come off so i can check the stock tint. I will take your advice though about the 20% tint, if i cant check it, than that is what im gonna go with.
