Has anyone heard of backlog because of Limited Slip rear ends.

Haven't heard of any diff problems. All DC will tell me on mine is it is in a 'Quality Hold'. When pressed they will say it could be any of a number of things but their database doesn't tell them specifically what the hold up is.



Hurry up and wait some more.

The hold up is the exhaust hangers on these trucks. My dealer confirmed that this morning via a fax he received referencing this issue. I ordered my truck in early December and it was built 1/20 an now sits in JS status as well.

Our dealer just received two 600s this morning. With each came four u-bolt style exhaust clamps and a page of directions. Dealer simply installs the four clamps next to the existing clamps. Wish one of the two trucks had been mine.

Here it is. Took it out to Denver Internation Airport to get the pics. I have no idea what the issue was/is with the exhaust clamps. Mine seems OK. As far as I know, the dealer didn't do anything to the exhause system. I'll have to look under it sometime. Heading back to Tucson this weekend.

I'm about to go nuts, the dealer put my order in on Jan 5, and it still is not set to be built yet!@#$% I am patiently waiting, but I broke down and went and bought a 85 Jeep CJ7 to get me around til I get the new ride... ... . Damn, this is getting expensive..... Sarge

Ken, your new ride is beautiful. To the un-initiated, it must seem strange for grown men to get so worked up over a piece of machinery.



It will be interesting to see what if any thing was done to your exhaust system.
