Memorial Day

Ohhh man what would YOU do?

I've got a job to make a thumb for a Ford 655. I was thinking of making the whole thing, but it looks like that's gonna be a bit of a pain as well as take too long.

I'm looking for recommendations on a source for a pre-made thumb that I can weld on. The guy wants it to be fixed, not hydraulic. It needs to be relatively stout because it's gonna be used for a lot of rock moving, building stone walls, etc.

This is just a idea don't know if you could use it or not, Since the thumb will be fixed position you might find youself a old ripper off a motorgrader, trac loader,or dozer to make work for you somehow.
