2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Backspacing?

Howdy-

I have a '99 2500 4x4. I would like to fit 315/75R16 tires. I will be installing the 2" leveling kit, and will also be installing new rims.



What backspacing is best on the new rims to limit/prevent rubbing?

4. 5 would be you best bet for a 99'



It may rub a hair on the control arms but not too bad.

That big a tire will rub without a 4. 5" lift, regardless of backspace on rim. Those who say it does not rub have not taken their truck off road much. Doing a 180 degree turn out of a wash or riverbed is where you will rub the worst.
