Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Brakes didnt work on freeway while pulling a trailer loaded with furniture and had to make a sudden stop..... (there's no icon for S****** your pants or it would be here. ) I had a hard pedal, and stomped on it four times and no change. So, the fifth time I hit it, I just stood on it and prayed as I watched the front end on the truck fixing to plow into a line of stopped traffic!! Just before I was to hit the lucky car in front of me it, they finally grabbed and almost face planted me in the windshield, like I was riding a bicycle and someone threw a stick in the front wheel to make you flip end over end. It happened once on an exit too, where there was a long line of traffic backed up onto the freeway and had to get on 'em hard. I smelled hot brakes then too. Today, on way home from work, getting off the freeway, I was just making a regular slow down to exit and there was that funny feeling hard pedal again and absolutly NOOO braking power as I pushed harder on the pedal. I let up and tryied again and they worked ok, tried again and they didn't, tried again and almost smashed my mouth on the steering wheel that time so I decided not to try again... . WTF???
