I have a 02 dodge 3500 5 speed when I come to a red light or stop sign in neutral engine starts missing or running rough if I turn on ac compresser it stops run normal compresser stops starts running rough again thanks for any help mike

Either use a code scanner or the key trick to see if you have any codes. IIRC, the cam sensor code is P1690. I would have to look it up to be sure. If the problem is the cam position sensor, replacing it is a good test of your manual dexterity.

Mine has the crank sensor and when it would act up it would be random. It would give a check engine light and the tach would be intermittent, I would think a cam sensor would do the same. I see you have a power puck, I would disconnect that first although I know nothing of it's operation but guess it operates like the Edge.

CRAP, I was looking at the wrong post on the power puck. It does sound fuel related tho. Any mods to the engine ?. You should really fill out your signature with anything different than stock if any for future reference.

Not familiar with Super Chip but if it is wired into the system like most including my DDUFM being off can still cause problems as the circuits still run through it. If this is the case I would start there.
