Brake lights coming on randomly

engine oil

Hello guys my 2016 2500 just started doing some weird stuff with the colder weather. I have done some thread trolling and it sounds like my converter is going south. First thing in the morning when its colder out usually when in drive and you come to a stop the truck lunges. Yesterday day it actually stalled the engine at a stop sign. It seems to only do it briefly till it gets warmed up in drive. But in reverse it seems like has almost no stall at all regardless of if its warm or cold. You shift to reverse and if your not on the brake hard it goes and goes hard. I have read on here that a few guys have had the reverse issue so i would assume the forward issue is also tied into the converter ?. The converter is stock and has about 130k on it. Any thoughts??

A Dealer can diagnose that with its wiTech.
It can as good be the valve body leaking.
You have a fully computerized transmission and therefor you need to diagnose it also in that way.

That sounds like the spin on filter base has cracked and bleeding pressure. Could be the VB also as they are not real solid stock.

Thanks guys. I guess back to the dealership we go for another week. Ive already had the valve body replaced with a vendors on this site valve body, the filter upgrade and some other valve eliminating block done about 5 months ago. Guess ill just have to drop it off and wait. Thanks again yall.
