bad CPS - Rokktech

I have a bad CPS. I am pretty draned sure. 05, intermittent long crank, getting worse.



If I replace with the Rokktech will this fix the problem?

cps as in crank position sensor, or cam position sensor? the rokktech is a modified crank position sensor. .



intermittent long crank could be a failed lift pump or plugged fuel filter too... ?

the intermitent long crank is a known issue on the 05 and linked to the CPS going bad.

i did a search on CPS in the 3rd gen section, and this thread was the only one that popped up. . could you link to a few threads showing the "cps" is the cause of long cranks? i searched for long cranks and all i found was reflash for repairs... ?

i thought the long crank issue was from the DMF? thought i read that in TDR a few issues back. dealer said the reflash wasnt worth the time.

Maybe I'm smoking crack, but I would swear I read on here last year that the long crank issue on the 05 was related to the CPS. On the 06 it was a computer issue.
