Bad day for me... my mom passed away last night

Also very hard for me I was on the road trucking and had 8 hours to get home...



My mom had a problem with her heart where it would race at 170 bpm even at sleep. . alergies to mold and certain foods. . she went on a medication to slow her heart rate and it seemed to be working the other day and up to yesterday. . no problem but just died in her sleep last night... .



All those that know my dad, he is very dedicated to her and he is a wreck today... I will be bringing him with me and my wife to the May madness to keep him not to be alone.

I'm sorry for your loss. I haven't had to deal with this yet, and I can't imagine the pain you and you father feel. Keep you chin up. Another angel in heaven.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathies. My Mom died 8 years ago at 77 after an MI that blew out her ventricular septum; it was rough for a year or so. The TDR Chat Freaks back then helped keep my spirits up.

Sorry to hear of your loss. . You will be in our thoughts and prayers. I lost my Grandpa in October, 3 days after my GF lost her Aunt. That was super rough on the both of us. Like what was said before, remember all the good times and know she is not hurting anymore.

I feel your pain Eric and I'm sorry. It's very difficult to lose a parent. I lost my Dad when he was 50 to lung cancer. I'm 50 now and not a day goes by that I don't count my blessings. Hug your Dad and check in on him often. It will be difficult for him.

Thanks for the replies guys. . dad is having a real hard time coping... mom was a super mom, she did everything and now dad and I have to learn how and what she did... even the vitamins he took, he has to figure out.

My wife and I live with him so she will do alot of the girl work now but it def. is a big hole here... even our dogs are in mourning. . our oldest dog is a min. schnauzer and she is 13 yrs old and just stays in the bed next to where mom slept.

She also cut mine and my dads hair all the time. . now we have to go to a cut place where mom had her hair cut.

Wow I know how you feel and the pain is tough. You seem like you had a great relationship, and that is something that you can cherish from now forward. I did not have that and wish I could have changed things. It sounds like a cliche but "it is better to have than have not". Your father and yourself will need to be there for each other through theese times ahead. God Bless ... . May the bond be tight on earth as it is in heaven.
