NV4500 oil change made easy!

Edge EZ or TS MP-8??

I've been looking for a vibration that started with bad tires. Replaced tires and vibration is coming back. Finally isolated it. When in overdrive it starts to vibrate just like out of balance tires. If you run it in overdrive off it does not do it. Pulling my 5th wheel up a steep grade I got bad shudder in overdrive, any ideas looks like bad TC. truck is stock.

If this happens around 45 to 50 mph the TQ probably doesn't have enough pressure to solidly lock up. It could be a valve body change would help. Depending on the mileage of the truck it may require a better TQ or internal seal replacement. I would start with a transmission service w/ a filter change and go from there. .

Very good chance you tc lock-up is toast.

If you add power and feel it shuddering watch your tach. If you use the throttle and the rpms increase without an increase in road speed you tc is toast.

Shut down all your power adders [if any ]and try again. There is a good chance your tc will live for while if you cut the power to stock.
