bad fuel milage

i have a 92 250 w/3:54s. my fuel milage was 17/18 when i got the truck but since last winter i have only got 14/15. i change fuel and air filters regularly. the only things i have changed is 16cm2 housing,4 inch exhaust, bd exhaust brake. i watched the boost and it goes to about 25 psi but i have higher egts then my cousin's 95, : mine runs about 700 at 60 mph. the only fuel increase was when i got it and it still got 17/18 mpg. so if any ideas is greatly appreciated. and it has not lost any power.



fuel cleaner did not help. :

Howdy, I'm in the same boat except that it's always been bad. I got the same EGT's about 700 at 60. I have seen 1200 a couple of times on 9% grades at 32psi and 22,000lbs gross.

BO, you need to get COOTER to give it a tune-

up. LOL

tried to but he was busy working on the general and mostly powerstrokes and gms trash.

Make sure that your front brakes are not draging... If the calipers still have the plastic pinstons in them . Replace them with steel pistons ... .
