Something is leaking on the drivers side of the motor right above the steering linkage. Looks like it is coming from the brake booster?

this happend to me as well. the brake fluid resovior was leaking because the seal and cover didnt match up to the base after 10 years. i bought a new resovior and it solved my problems.

On the other hand, for me the hydroboost unit was leaking. I determined whether it was brake fluid or power steering fluid by putting a flourescent dye (transmission flourescent dye from NAPA) into the power steering fluid.

If you hit the leaking fluid with the ultraviolet test light it will glow if the dye is detected. I didn't really need the light since it put a greenish tint to the fluid. My hydroboost unit was leaking where it mates to the brake master cylinder. It leaked down onto the steering shaft but I could not tell if it was brake fluid from the brake master cylinder or power steering fluid from the power steering coming from the hydroboost unit. The dye will tell you for sure.

I replaced my boost unit with a new one for about $300 from Hydratech Braking Systems at www.hydroboost.com. I had a thread posted on here on my fix.

If you need more info on the repair I'll be glad to help.

Hope that helps some.
