I had been having a pretty bad drive line slop bangfor lack of a better term. So while a good friend was helping me get some work done on it the other day we decided it was time to change the diff fluid and see what the rear looked like. the R and P look great but all of the slop i have with it witch i'm guessing is about 5 to 10 deg of slop maybe even more when turning the drive shaft is all in the limited slip. IS this normal or even cose. Plus the L/S has just stoped acting as strong as it once was. It used to stay locked pretty good and when my foot is on it and the truck is even in a bit of a drift it used to be a nice controled feel and now it can make up its mind. SO is there a reuild kit for the unit, or buy another stock one for 600, Doing a locker scares me because i know with that much power and a heavy load and havinf one trie with traction theres a chance of snaping a shaft(going on what i was told yrs ago) if there a better option, a litte bit more money for a nicer unit wouldn't be bad. when i have been it situations where i was stuck bth rear wheeels were spining so selctale locker just wouldnt do much good i think.
