Bad Mileage and IAT - Please Read!

The intake air sensor is on the block farther back than the MAP sensor, almost to the back of the head. Volume 2 Page 14-102 and 14-103... ... ... ... . Pete

My mileage seems to be slipping downward also. See Signature, truck is 100% stock,, and I am getting 12. 5 MPG towing about 8K and 13. 5 MPG empty around town.

Is this sensor something that would be covered under warranty? And how would I go about getting dealer to check it out? I have 13,300 miles now--this thing should be broke in by now, as I have used it to tow with since it had 400 miles on it.

The IAT sensor should be covered under the emissions related items. With a bad IAT sensor the emissions, CO2, HC and NOx will climb to the sky.
