I have received word they are going into production. A grease fitting has been added. Sounds like mabe another 30 days or so for the release date.

Awesome, a good replacement finally.

I will be checking mine this week when I pull the axle shafts to do new U-Joints.

I received an e-mail from Jesse Lewis at Carli Suspension about the new ball joints they are working on. The new product should be available to the public in 3-4 weeks according to Jesse.

Just thought I would pass this on for folks that are interested.

I left out the most important part. The price will be around $550

$550 each? OUCH! At $225 each it would take some consideration before buying, given that stock aftermarket replacements can be had for less then $60 and changed out in a few hours.

Hopefully Carli doesn’t underestimate the consumer’s cheapness, lol. Improved uppers are a godsend... but only if the price is reasonable and that becomes a subjective issue, especially for those who do their own repairs.

Of course for the baja 1000 type drivers it may be worth it at any price, but is that market large enough to justify mass producing the joint?

Great to see this is finally happening, lets hope the pricing is low enough to be a win win for everyone.

The price is for a pair of the only extreme duty ball joints made for our trucks. They are not mass produced, they are custom machined, and a few other proprietary steps that make them expensive to build,so that we the end users can run many trouble free miles.
