:( my next door neighbor lost his wife to one of his freinds. He let the guy hang around until the wife thought the friend had to be had. Now the new hubby is in prison. The old hubby still hangs around the house. The Sheriff told the prisoners wife to leave the place or loose her kids(no running water). Now she has lost the place( or is in process of loosing it) non payment. No one is paying a dime on this house, and guess what is in there now. Drug house city. Cars and trucks day and night going back and foreward. I had my fill today and went out in the street and started taking pictures of the cars. Two guys came out of their cars to ask what the f*&^ was I taking pictures of their cars for?

I said no one has 20 different visitors each day for 5 minutes. You assh@les are buying drugs and I am tired of it. I am going to turn the pictures over to the law. One guy came within 3 feet of me. The other 18 inches of me. I said I don`t need this ***** and the one guy left. The other went inside and made his deal. I called the law. This was 90 minutes ago. No LE has shown up yet.

I am ****** , any ideas????????

I hear what your saying but be careful. Those types might be carrying.

Have a BOMBing party with a bunch of friends and their trucks over. Protection and witnesses.

Call the DEA. I don't even know if they'd do anything about a small time dealer.

Call the law back, tell them to come now or you are calling the local TV station and are going to let them come over and expose what is going on and that the police will do noting about it. DOCUMENT your calls to the law, and keep your silly butt out of the street with the camera. Those people will hurt you and your family with no remorse. If the law does not come over call the TV stations, they would LOVE to hammer the local PD.

Video is better than still pictures, that way you have a time line and you can set up far enough that they won't see you. Be carefull tho not the best crowd to screw with, I'd have "protection" and a cell phone handy if I was you. Nothing like a TV spot to get the city moving faster, I'll agree to that!

If you want action, call 911 from a payphone in the local area and tell them there is racial violence going on at that address, you saw 3 white men drag a screaming black man inside. There will be 1,000 cops, TV reporters, and assorted activists at the place within 10 minutes.

Variations:

- Homophobic violence

- off-duty cop being mugged

- law-abiding citizen cleaning a rifle in the garage

- property owner damaging wetlands

- someone committing suicide

- hot naked blonde locked out of house

- etc

Sadly, there is so much drug activity that it doesn't generate much sense of urgency in many locales.

Unfortunately, most cities don't have enough officers on duty at a time to respond quickly to every call, so narcotics calls - among other things - are normally not a high priority. Things like fights, domestic violence, etc. will be dispatched first.

Does your local PD/sheriff's department have a narcotics task force? If so, contact them and provide as much detailed information as possible. Documenting the activity, especially specific info about vehicles (descriptions and license plates), people involved (if you know the names of the residents), etc. will help them build a case. Because of the way the system works it is usually not an overnight process to shut down a drug house.

Taking photos/video is a great idea, but do it safely and discreetly - as bad as things are now, getting hurt or killed won't make it any better. I'm sure you're already aware, but people who use and deal drugs are normally not very mentally stable. Don't jeopardize yourself or your family.

Calling in false reports is not only illegal, but it may also keep officers from responding to true emergencies. If you were the one needing immediate help would you want the police to be stuck on a bogus call?

a good friend of mine was in the same situation as you about 10 years ago ... ...

people across the street dealing so much that they were parking in his driveway and on his lawn...

police station is only 10 blocks away

but the druggies had a "neighborhood watch" with snitches posted 5 or 6 blocks away, when the PD was rolling towards them, snitches alerted the drug house and everyone bailed 10 seconds before the cops showed up.

my buddy gave up and moved, hopefully you have a better outcome

Good luck

as was posted earlier, have nightly Bombing parties at your house,

take over the block and just

"SMOKE-EM OUT"

be careful

Actually, that isn't a bad idea. CPS can often enter a home to check welfare on the children, and if they see something inside they should notify the PD.

Besides, if there are kids living in those conditions, CPS really does need to get involved. :(

We had same problem 1/2 mile down the road from us. Actuallly this was our closest "neighbor". the old man that owned the house was afraid to evict them. I called law enforcment MANY times and was told we don't have time, manpower, budget, call someone else, yadda yadda. this went on five years. Thirty or forty cars a day with one person in them visiting for 1-2 minutes, then leave. Front porch stacked with bags of potting soil. Activity 24 hours a day. Yard guarded by dobermans and german shepards. One hippy would come by every day around 4 and put a bag in the trunk of the car and take a white German shepard along with him for protection and then come back by to drop off the dog an hour later. Rough looking bunch. They finally rounded then up after 5 years of complaints after they arrested relatives many miles away with a house full of illegal weapons. they were all out in a year!!!!. I was afraid for our kids waiting for the bus in the morning with all that went on. On side note: I mentioned to a highway patrolman the other day that I learned of a man that just bought a truck from a man on the local most wanted list (parole violation, suspected murder) and he told me the DA would most likely not be interested because of the States budget crunch. It would cost too much to prosecute and keep him locked up. :(

I had better luck getting rid of trash by calling the health department then the police. Any kids involved? If not then maybe you gotta do what you gotta do... ...

Maybe the cops are already on to this place, but they can't respond and blow months worth of undercover work. Instead of just trying to get rid of the seller, they might be trying to clean up the whole bunch of them. Get rid of the seller and somebody will replace them in a couple hours.

Well it was a good though if thats what is really going on.

Just don't get holes poked in you trying to take pictures by yourself, Get the rest of the neighborhood involved it would be safer. Get all the neighborhood out there with picket signs "no drugs on our street" and have the local news crew show up. Then the law will be forced to do something. (these "neighbors" could really be a group of friends you have over, the news crew don't care)
