Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) BAD News....Blown Head Gasket.....!!

Be sure and discuss the head bolt tightening procedure. I'm still guessing that's what caused this.

Well, got my truck back!!

All is GOOD now. #ad


The head gasket repair was a $1400 job of which they only requested $300 from us. We ended up making a decent deal compromise in the end.

Considering all the time/trouble/cost that would have been involved in paying for an Attorney/Court Cost/Time lost blah, blah, blah... . We negotiated a new 30 warranty on top of it all and forked over the $300.

The treated us very well and the truck is running MUCH better than it did before!

All's well that end's well! #ad


Now... ... just HOPE the heck the truck holds up!!

My trcuk spent our 1st aniversary in the shop getting a new short block... ...



You do have incredible patience, but I am aslo amazed at what sounds like unending positive customer service. Not evry one does that, but people are generaly more friendly away from columbus



The service manager at Paul Sherry made up some BS power complaint to do the high idle reflash under waranty

Thanks man! Can't make it sound like a "BIG TRUCK" with an Automatic though! I LOVE the way it shifts!

"MAYBE" someone could nominate my truck for TDR's Truck of the Month!! (Hint Hint!)
