Bad news for Dakota/Durango owners and DC.

I saw a story on the nightly news this evening about the Dakota and Durango's ball joints. Apparently these things are grenading with very low miles. One woman had her entire wheel, spindle, and axle fall off.



These people are getting the ball rolling with a class action law suit against DC.



If you have one of these in your driveway, get it checked.

Can you advise what years & models (2wd, 4wd, etc. ) are affected?

All years are affected and D-C has known about it and has been doing them under warranty for a long time now. My wifey's 98 360R/T was just outside the window recently and they did them all as they were in their mind "questionable". I am sorry to see in a sue happy world this is the only way to make a big company wake up but it is what it is. Shame of it is with all these Rams and their KDP problems maybe they need a second wake up call... ... . Andy
