Bad sway bar links

Has anyone had their swaybar links go bad? I have a funny noise in the Left front and a friend thought that may be the problem. Anyone know how to check if they're bad? My friend said to disconnect it and take it for a ride to see of the noise goes away.

They may be your problem,but I would ck ball joints also.

my ball joints and my truck are at the dealer now getting changed with 13K on the truck. They were/are making a clunk noise from the front endon bumps. I would check them out to make sure/

It turned out that my air tank for my Pacbrake was loose and rattling around.
