Bad thread?

In Competition, thread "Who makes the most power... ... ... " is not being found. That is, the server is being contacted, but I get no response. Other threads display just fine.

If the thread has a picture in it and that server is down for some reason it will take 5 seconds per picture from that host when it loads before it times out. So if a person has 5 pictures from 1 server on a thread and that server is down it will take 25 seconds for them to time out before the thread will finish loading. It's a function of the image resize code that I wrote that checks for the size of an image and then resizes it if necessary so that it doesn't screw up the formatting of the forums - the slowdown in the case of an image server being down is the price we have to pay. If I didn't do that and a person linked to an image that was too wide you would have to scroll back and forth to read all of the posts in that thread. The old version of vB was formatted such that a too wide image would make only that post as wide as the image. This version is formatted where if there is a too wide image it makes the entire page the width of that image. This was the best workaround that I could come up with. That is probably what is causing what you've witnessed. The next time it happens look through that thread and see if there is any images on it and if any are giving the "image server not found" message and report back. Otherwise let me know which specific thread it is and I'll look into it.
