Attention: TDR Forum Junkies sdalton , the trans is soft because dodge turned down the pressure to keep the wave of yuppies that have decided they want a pickup happy , they got complaints of the shifts being harsh and the jump when putting it in gear . lowering the line pressure softened things up , but also is part of the failure cause , not enough pressure is being applied at the appropriate time.
just recieved by care package from bill k. and company today , as soon as i get my new apply lever and mag hy tec pan i'll be back to the way these transmission felt and shifted before dodge castrated them
